Business Competency Prerequisites

Basic knowledge in six business areas, accounting, economics, financial management, information systems, marketing, and statistics, is the foundation of graduate business studies. Moravian MBA students must demonstrate their knowledge in these areas through previous course work, CLEP tests, professional certifications, or by taking courses at Moravian. An advisor can determine the prerequisite requirements you may need.

The Moravian MBA Core

In addition to four concentration courses, core subjects are studied by all Moravian MBA students in two sets of courses four courses each – the Functional core of economics, data management, finance, and operations courses, and the Leadership core focused in ethical leadership, leading others, and leading innovation and change.

Students can complete the Moravian MBA program in two years. But you can set the pace that meets your needs.

Flexible formats for classes include hybrid as well as traditional course meetings. Courses meet weekday evenings and Saturday mornings for your convenience.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Classes begin in six different sessions each year – August, October, January, March, May, and July. You can apply anytime and start taking your Moravian MBA courses quickly.

The Moravian MBA application process takes four weeks once we have all of your application material.

You do not need to submit the GMAT if you have two years of fulltime work experience or an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.33 or higher.

To apply to the Moravian MBA program submit an application form, two recommendation forms, a current resume, cover letter, undergraduate and graduate transcripts,and GMAT scores, if required. An interview is required as part of the process.
